Page/Post 'Coming Soon' displayed when categories has no articles

I have at the ‘whiskypedia’ page the categories tree at the sidebar, with 21 categories.
But, when the page will go live, my plan is to have only 3-4 categories with articles.
So, the idea is the categories with no articles, to display a ‘Coming soon’ post/page.

But the standard behaviour of the posts is to display first a list of articles, in this case only the ‘Coming Soon’ post, and then, after clicking on the article, the content of the post.
The desired behaviour is to access the content of the coming soon post directly, so the user has not to click on it. I think this must be a page, but how can I tell this to the theme?

Is there a pluggin or some php that I can modify?
