    +++ the theme offered:
    menu1 menu2 menu3 menu4
    submenu1
    submenu2
    submenu3

    +++ I would like to do:
    menu1 menu2 menu3 menu4
    submenu1 submenu2 submenu3

    the row for ANY submenu is always visible as block, empty if nothing is selected.

    any advise please?

    Hey frankyfranky!

    You can use the secondary menu as the submenu you want:

    Then you’ll need to make some edits in the header.php to make it appear below the main navigation.

    What i want:

    onHover Nothing:
    m1 m2 m3
    [blank row block]

    onHover m1:
    m1 m2 m3
    m1a m1b m1c m1d

    onHover m2:
    m1 m2 m3
    m2a m2b m2c

    onPage m1 or m1a or m1b … etc:
    m1 m2 m3
    m1a m1b m1c m1d

    I can get use of Secondary Menu and place them under the mainMenu
    but:
    1) it couldn’t interactive with onHover mainMenu
    2) it couldn’t change with different page
