    I like to change the default of both the search results and archives to have the side bar on the left and also change the way it displays excerpts into a grid or another option.

    Go to Enfold > Sidebar > Sidebar on Archive Pages select left sidebar.

    Is there a way to change the view of how post appear in the archive section? Like excerpts or grid?

    Hi!

    No, not at the moment. It will inherit the setting for Blog style set in the Enfold general settings.
