Displaying recent forum posts on homepage

Is there a way I can display recent posts from the forum on the homepage? I’d like to share company news with visitors without them having to dig through the forums. (Like how there is a blog post function, but from forums instead)

If above is possible, a follow up question, is there a way to display messages with certain tags (or located in certain forums), or sticky posts (such as those from the president) in the front page and not everything that people post?

Lastly, if the above two are NOT possible, is there a way to display the blog posts in a row-by-row setting on the homepage instead of having columns? For this, I was using the Avia Layout Builder –> Content Elements –> Blog Posts
