Hi,
I’m having the same line break issue as https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-avoid-rendering-extra-line-breaks/
Every time I go to the Avia Layout Builder, <br />’s are added to my text lines. One before each line for every time I go to the editor.
I edited the textblock.php file as described in the above referenced post, cleared my cache, but Ismael’s pastebin link from that support ticket no longer works, so I still need a solution please.
Also, is it possible to put the newly edited textblock.php file somewhere in my Child Theme folder so the changes don’t get lost on updates?
Thank you.

I think this has been fix on the latest update of Enfold. Do you have Enfold 2.3.2? Please download it on your themeforest account.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 22, 2013 at 10:22 pm #179248Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your response. No, the problem still exists. I am running the latest theme release, Version 2.4.1.
Problem: In Avia Layout Builder, click to edit Text Block, a new, phantom <br/> exists at start of text — the spacing is visible in the Visual tab –> Click Text tab –> remove <br/> that was somehow added at beginning of text –> Save.
When next clicking on same Text Block to edit, a new <br/> has been added. If the original phantom one was not removed (as described in previous step), an additional <br/> is added each time you click on the Text Block to edit.
Am also running Preserved HTML Editor Markup plugin, but it has no affect.
Please advise. Thank you.

October 23, 2013 at 3:05 am #179385Hey!
I’m sorry but I don’t see any phantom br tags on version 2.4.1. Please post the link of your website here and the login details. Deactivate all your plugins first then we will check it.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 23, 2013 at 5:34 am #179463Hi,
Thank you, Ismael. After deactivated all plugins, then reactivating one-by-one, I found the problem. So…ironically, it was a plugin issue with the Preserved HTML Editor Markup plugin being activated. That plugin actually caused the addition of the breaks to be added each time I clicked into a Text Block. Odd, ironic, yet solved with that plugin deactivated now.
Thanks again,
