    Hi there. We dev’d a site under a staging domain name. Now that we are ready to launch, we changed the domain name in wordpress to the actual production URL.

    However, we are still seeing the old URL in images that were embedded using the avia editor. For example, on come pages, we set a background image in a color section, and the path of that image shows the old domain name still.

    We now have to manually go in and edit the images on each page to change the paths…

    Is there a way around this?

    Hello unclemurray!

    You can and should use a plugin like this when moving domains: WP MIGRATE DB

    WordPress and themes in general don’t have relative file name locations and changing everything in the database is the best way to move from one domain to another. Doing so with respect for serialized data (like the above plugin does) is needed for Enfold so that everything moves over correctly.

    Even still you will likely need to tweak some things and re-do settings but it should be minor.
