    After installing and beginning to use the Yoost SEO wordpress plugin I now cannot access page design. There is a just a spinning wheel where there was the content boxes (design elements) and when I then try to access other pages it give me a “failure to connect to server” message.

    EEK!

    Can you let me know how to get my content back???
    I’ve now deactivated the plugin but I still cannot see my Home page.

    I can see other content pages by entering their page URL’s for example:
    http://greatcheapwebsites.com/about-us/

    but only spinning wheel on “Edit Page” when in Dashboard of WordPress.

    What should I do?
    Please tell me I don’t have to start over!

    You’re using a very old version of Enfold. Please download version 2.2 on your themeforest account then update the theme. You can watch this video on how to update the theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356

    so, to “update” the theme files but keep the site content looking the same, how would I update?
    Just upload the newest version? Or would I have to rebuild all my content, menus, pages, media library, etc?

    Meanwhile: still didn’t get a reply if you know if the Yoost SEO plugin has conflicts with this theme?

    Hey!

    You will not lose your configurations and content when you update the theme. Just follow the instructions on how to override the theme files via FTP. You should create a backup of the files you modified like custom.css etc. A lot of Enfold users are using the SEO Yeost plugin without problem or issues.

    Hello!

    Actually we even added a php file which fully integrates Yoast SEO into Enfold. Eg the page analysis tool now works with the page builder because we asked Yoast to cooperate with us and to implement a new hook (see: http://yoast.com/wordpress-seo-content-analysis/ ) which allows us to manipulate the content. I’m not aware of any incompatibility issues and all Yoast SEO plugins (free & premium) should work with our theme (and I use it on my websites with Enfold too). You maybe need to increase the allocated php memory to 128M though: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
