    I get the following error when trying to load this page in the admin panel (after clicking LayerSlider WP > Custom Styles Editor):

    ForbiddenYou don’t have permission to access “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider_style_editor” on this server.

    My site runs on Macdock and I’ve had problems since the start with their server. Is it a permissions setting? I had this type of error message before when the contents folder wasn’t write enable so I had to change the permissions on it and then it would work.

    Yes, it looks like a permission issue, did you try contacting your server support?

    They couldn’t help. I have another site that I use a purchased copy of LayerSlider for WP and it doesn’t give me this error, so I thought it may have been because it loads from within the theme.

    I set permissions on everything in the wp-contents folder to 777 (temporarily of course) and it still didn’t work.

    Hi,

    You can use the Enfold > Styling > Quick CSS or add css modifications on custom.css. They will work the same.

    Thanks. I can do that in the meantime. That doesn’t resolve the error however. It’s a workaround, but clearly, something is wrong and who knows if this issue is affecting any other areas of WP. Hrmm?

    I just had my host change all permissions on my site and re-uploaded version 2.1 of enfold (freshly downloaded from theme forest today) and I still get the same error message. Is there any information you might want that might help with this error?

    LayerSlider Support does not exist. When you access their support site, all you can do is read faqs. They have no way of requesting support from them to help fix this. The problems does not seem to be with my host or file permissions, so it must be something with enfold. I want to by able to create some animations like what is on your front page of your website, but with that section of the plugin not allowing me to access it, I am at a standstill.

    Please throw some ideas at me and I will work on them.
