I’m on Enfold 7.1.3, and suddenly today, all the Google maps on my site are now showing up. My Google Map API Key is valid and working fine, but for some reason, the theme won’t show the maps.
I have the large map on the contact page, plus a small map in every footer
Looking back through the forums, this seems to be a common problem with this theme that’s still not fully resolved. Please come up with a solution!

Thank you for the inquiry.
We saw an error in the browser console in a compressed file, which might be the reason the maps are not showing. After deactivating the “WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache plugin”, the error goes away and the map displays correctly. Have you tried deactivating the compression from the mentioned plugin?

IsmaelOk, thanks for tracing the problem. I’ll take a look at WP-Optimize and try and reduce the settings. Or try another Caching plugin.
It seems the Enfold theme has a lot of issues with Caching and compression plugins.
I previously had SpeedyCache Pro running for a long time. But then the home page suddenly started throwing errors, with huge amounts of garbage code appearing at the top of my home page… it looked like compressed and minified CSS wasn’t getting parsed properly. So I had to ditch SpeedCache.
Do you have any recommended caching plugins that work well with this theme?
