    Error we are getting from multiple computers with multiple team members on our end.
    Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

    Updates are not being saved and completed because of error.

    We have checked the following for errors before sending this message: theme, plugins, PHP, IP address. There have not been any issues prior till now.

    Hey jocelynwasham,

    What happens if you temporarily deactivate all plugins and remove any custom code that you might have added?

    I have deactivated all plugins one at a time yesterday and tried this avenue. That did not fix the problem. How do I check for custom code issues? Where do I locate what (if any) custom code was originally added to the site?

    Hi,

    Custom code might be added in a snippets plugin, or in a child theme. If you are running a child theme, then try activating the parent to see what happens then.
