    Hello support team,

I have set up a new website and I am having some problems implementing the desired layout. I have set up the individual products as a portfolio page, or was that the wrong way?
I am also writing individual requests for the individual difficulties – I think that is easier to answer. In general, I am, as always, wonderfully satisfied with the theme!

I have set up the individual products as a portfolio.
Now only the products that are on the page are displayed in the selection, not all the products that are on the following pages. Can this be adjusted?
    Example: Alle / Buche / Holzstufen / DekoStairs /
The DekoStairs only appear on page 2 because there are also DekoStairs there.
I would like to see these on the first page and then, when I click on them, all DecoStairs that are also on pages 2 and 3, for example, appear.

There is also another function that gives me a kind of ‘sub-navigation’. These levels are then differentiated into e.g. oak / bamboo … but this does not appear immediately but when I have decided on a main category. Is that also possible?

    Here is my page:

    Hey klick-design-rbh,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

I would like to see these on the first page and then, when I click on them, all DecoStairs that are also on pages 2 and 3, for example, appear.

Unfortunately, the category sort or filter is limited to the items displayed on the current page, and it’s not possible to add sub-navigation. It cannot retrieve items from the next or previous pages. If you need the filter to display all associated items, you’ll need to disable pagination and display all portfolio items on a single page. Hope this helps clarify things a bit.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,

OK, thank you very much. Unfortunately that doesn’t help me. Later there will be almost 3 times as many products as displayed now. If I show all of them directly on one page, the loading times are much too long and everything becomes too confusing. Isn’t there another option?

Or do you have a portfolio plugin that you can recommend? Because basically all my problems have to do with the display of the AJAX portfolio.

    Thank you very much.
    Greetings Matthias

    Hi,

If you need a more advanced sorting or filtering feature, we recommend FacetWP. However, it is not compatible with the portfolio element, so you will need to create your own grid.

For more assistance regarding site customization, we recommend Codeable.
