    Good morning!

    I’m having a problem with sending emails on a new Enfold website – I can’t get the error fixed.

    Emails sent from the contact form are not arriving (website: https://bne-am-bkbw.de/redaktion/
    Also, no emails arrive during the “Forgot password” process.

    Error message according to the plugin “easy wp smtp”:
    Attention! Sending the last email your website tried to send failed.
    Email source WP core
    Mailer: SMTP server
    SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
    For more details please try running an Email Test or reading the latest error event.

    Error message last seen in browser:
    Gateway Timeout
    The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    The crazy thing is that I have a website duplicate on which this works.
    https://website-master.mediateams.de/ is the same as

    Home v1

    Hi,

    If your WordPress installation is not able to send emails, then it’s not a theme problem. Please try reaching out to your hosting provider for further help, or refer to the documation of the SMTP service that you are using.
