    On our site the Enfold page builder elements are not showing and the button to switch between Default Editor and Advanced Layout Builder is also missing.

    This is what we see:

    From another of our sites this is more what we would expect to see:

    We are running what should be the latest versions: WordPress 6.7.2 and Enfold 6.0.9

    I have disabled all plugins.

    Please advise what we need to do.

    We cannot reproduce that problem on our end. Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    I temporarily activated the parent them and that resolved the issue.

    It looks like the child theme is just the default Enfold child theme unchanged. But i guess it has our client’s settings for the website.

    Any ideas how we can proceed from here to get things working?

    Hi,

    An empty child theme should not affect anything, did you check if it’s actually empty? We couldn’t check since the file editor is turned off on your installation. If you need further help, then please turn that on, or share FTP login details with us.

    Hi Rikard

    There is the WP File Manager plugin to browse the files. That is the only access I have. It was using that plugin I checked it was an empty child theme.

    I just tried adding a new Enfold Child theme. It is called ochamps-theme. When I installed it the Advanced Layout Editor was working. But then I exported the theme settings from the original child theme and imported them into the new child theme, and now I have the same problem again.

    So it seems to be related to something in the Enfold Child settings.

    Any further suggestions please?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    The Enfold > Layout Builder > Lock Advanced Layout Builder For Admins As Well option was enabled, which disabled the ALB for everyone. We have now disabled the option.
