Hi,
I have a pg with a Fullwidth Easy Slider and couple of videos. I used to just hide this element on mobile devices.
Now I have been testing the fallback image option but this doesn’t seem to be working as expected.
On a smartphone, I see both the video and the fallback image below each other. I expect only the see the fallback img on a mobile…Could you have a look?
Thank you, D

Thank you for the inquiry.
We’ve found a script error in the compressed scripts, so we disabled the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, which seems to have fixed the issue. Please make sure to purge the cache or remove the browser history before checking the page. Let us know if the issue returns.
Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. Have tested it but still get both the mp4 and img. Purged WpRocket and Varnish. Also purged the browserhistory and tested on different mobile device. Could you have another look?
Thank you
DimitriFebruary 14, 2025 at 6:16 am #1477096Hi,
This is what we see on mobile view:
Please make sure to purge the cache or check the site on incognito mode.

IsmaelFebruary 14, 2025 at 9:09 am #1477110Morning Ismael,
I still get the dual mp4/img.
Varnish & WPRocket are purged.
Browserhistory on Chrome on an S23 was purged.
Opened the site in incognito modus and got the same issue. See screenshot:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/gu33mCPx2YyKPGHb6Also tested this on two other smartphones that have never browsed to the site and got the same problem.
Are you an emulator or a real mobile device?
Thank you,
DimitriFebruary 15, 2025 at 5:20 pm #1477160Hi,
When I clear Varnish & WPRocket and am logged in I don’t see this, when I log out I see it, but if I log back in I don’t see it.
Typically caches do not show for admins when logged in, this is a sign that it is in your cache. Try disabling your WPRocket and check again. Perhaps also try the same with Varnish.Best regards,

I don’t think it had anything to do with caching.
Here’s the workaround I implemented:
Duplicated the existing Fullwidth Easy Slider.
Changed the duplicate to an Image Slide (instead of Video).
Adjusted the Responsive settings of both Fullwidth Easy Slider elements to show the original Video slider only on large screens and the Image slider on all other screens. This seems to work. Do you have any concerns with this approach, particularly regarding performance?
Thank you,
