ALE showing white copy

I’m trying to add additional posts for my blog. When I paste the copy into the box (Advanced Layout Editor), it shows really weird. White, with an old default http type (maybe chicago?). It is not showing any design or coding options. Even if I go to text view, it is still that white weird text. How can this be fixed, or purged, etc.?

I have purged everything. I was on the phone with my host (siteground) for an hour, but even with restored backups from days ago, it fails to work. I have turned off and on every plugin.

I seems to be some kind of bug with Enfold?
