    Hi,

    I’m experiencing issues with the Advanced Layout Editor. Specifically, the editing page does not load properly, making it partially unscrollable and preventing me from editing my content.

    To better illustrate the issue, I’ve attached a short video showcasing the problem.

    Additional details:

    Theme version: 6.0.6
    WordPress version: 6.7

    It’s a pleasure Rikard.

    I deactivated all plugins one at a time, but unfortunately, the issue remains unchanged.

    The problem persists despite these efforts.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. What happens if you upload a fresh copy of the theme? You can upload it as if it was new, and don’t forgot to backup your theme settings before doing this.

    Hi Rikard,

    I attempted the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

    • Activated the default WordPress theme.
    • Deleted the Enfold theme (after backing up the settings).
    • Uploaded a fresh copy of the Enfold theme.

    Unfortunately, the issue persists both with and without my customizations applied.

    Hi Rikard,

    I’ve conducted further tests and noticed the following:

    • When I enable LayerSlider and clear the cache, the Advanced Layout Editor works correctly again.
    • However, if I deactivate LayerSlider or deactivate it and remove the related files (since I don’t use it and have no intention of keeping it on the hosting space), the issue reappears as it was before.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. What happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the theme options? You could also add this to functions.php in the theme, but I see that you are not using a child theme:

    
add_theme_support( 'avia_gutenberg_post_type_support' );

    Hi Rikard,

    I tested the proposed solution on my instance and enabled the Classic Editor in the theme options. Whether LayerSlider is enabled, disabled, or completely removed along with its related files, the Advanced Layout Editor works correctly.
