Hi,
after I put my website live the icons are showing as a rectangle and squares. While the website was in an other folder on the webspace, the icons showed correctly. I changed the URL of the website with the plugin “better search and replace”.
I tried the solution written in the documentation, as I put the code in the .htaccess file. The problem still exists.
The website is located at the provider Strato. In the customer account I can’t find anything abount “CDN”.And: The welcome message “Welcome to Enfold 6.0” cannot be klicked off. The X does not work and there is no “dismiss” link in the text.
Would be glad to get support.
Thanks, SaboNovember 13, 2024 at 8:00 am #1471192Hey agenturwendt,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Did you add any custom scripts to the site? We are seeing this error on both the front-end and back-end.
Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token
Have you tried deactivating the plugins temporarily?
Best regards,

I revalidated the token.
Yes, I added custom scripts to the css stylesheet. The above explained problem exists even when I remove all my custom code from the stylesheet.
I deactivated all the plugins temporarily, but the problem still exists. It all worked well untill I changed the url of the website.
I found another problem in the masonry-gallery. As soon a I set the styling to “perfect grid” all the images from the gallery disappear in the frontend. This hasn’t been before I changed the url.
Beside, the welcome message is gone now.
In the private section I enclose a proof of the valid token.
November 13, 2024 at 12:56 pm #1471219Which icons are affected? The normal entypo-fontello icons or individually uploaded icon fonts?

November 14, 2024 at 4:23 am #1471286Hi,
Thank you for the update.
It all worked well untill I changed the url of the website.
How did you change the URL? Have you tried performing a search and replace in your database to update the old URL with the current one?

Please make sure to create a site backup before proceeding.

IsmaelNovember 14, 2024 at 12:11 pm #1471309Hi Ismael,
I first created the website in a subfolder. Then I changed the setting at the provider that the domain should point to the subdirectory. After that I changed the URL with the plugin “better search & replace” and right now I changed the URL also directly in the database. Then again I checked the former URL with “better search & replace” – the result is 0 found tables with the former URL.The problem still exists. I enclose as private content a screenshot where you can see it clearly.
The Icons are missing and the pictures in the gallery.
The odd thing is: The pictures in the gallery are only missing when I turn on “perfect grid”.
November 15, 2024 at 6:34 am #1471356Hi,
Then I changed the setting at the provider that the domain should point to the subdirectory.
What do you mean by “changed the setting at the provider”? It’s possible that this step caused the issue. Are you sure you’re searching for the correct URL or domain? Please try searching for the entries again and replace them with the current domain. Where can we check the gallery?
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 15, 2024 at 11:12 am #1471392Hi Ismael,
I simply changed the directory path at the provider where the domain should point internally. (Directory A was the old website, directory B the new website). The domain originally pointed to directory A, now directory B. For testing purposes, I moved the website back to the original directory. However, the error remains unchanged.
Is there anybody who can solve this problem?
November 16, 2024 at 3:36 pm #1471465Hi,
It looks like the entypo-fontello font is not loading or called on your site, I’m not sure why, perhaps your “better search and replace” broke the path.
Originally was the icons showing? If so try using the Duplicator plugin instead of “better search and replace” with the original site.Best regards,
