Hi
We have just shifted a dev site over to the main site and everything looked good.
Now suddenly when we load in this page: https://ktaksering.no
The front page acts weird by loading in the two main images and suddenly they are gone again for a moment and we see a privacy notice on the bottom. Then the main images are seen again.Enfold -> Theme Options -> Privacy and Cookies -> Default Cookie Behaviour
I am wondering what is going on with the front page images?
When I switched Default Cookie Behaviour to not use on first load then the images seems to show up as they should. (I was mistaken they are still acting weirdly on load of the front page.)
I am also wondering why there is suddenly a privacy notice on the bottom of the page. I have tried to change it to a plugin I have setup but it is not working. I am now seeing two privacy areas on the bottom.Enfold -> Theme Options -> Privacy and Cookies -> Cookie Handling -> Enable cookie consent messages
The field: Enable cookie consent messages is not coming up correctly and I am not able to add a message there. So a few different weird things going on here.

November 10, 2024 at 2:21 pm #1471002Hey Silje,
I see that you have the plugins Autoptimize & WP Rocket, these seem to be conflicting with each other, they do the same job. One or both are loading the css & js defered so after the page is loaded and you move the mouse over the page they load again.
I disabled both and now there is no issue with the top page images. please clear your browser cache and check.
If you want to examine feather, try disabling checking each setting, but from past experience I don’t recommmed Autoptimize.
I didn’t find an issue with your Enable cookie consent messages:
I added the word “test” to it and it shows correctly.Best regards,

I noticed the plugin conflict between Autoptimize and WP Rocket and have left Autoptimize off. No need as you mentioned to have both.
I turned WP Rocket on again and then off but in the Brave (Chrome version) browser I am still seeing the same issue that the Enable cookie consent messages AND the Message fields contain errors. Both fields are hidden so that I can not modify these.Logging in with Firefox both these fields show up as they should,
So the issue here is that Brave is not showing the two fields correctly.

It seems a bit weird if that impacts these two fields though.I added a screenshot to my dropbox. Hopefully the link works fine.

November 11, 2024 at 8:46 am #1471055Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The dropdown is visible on our end. Are you trying to disable the cookie consent messages? Since the “Default Cookie Behavior” setting is visible and other cookie options, this means that the cookie consent messages option is enabled.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 12, 2024 at 1:46 am #1471121Hi Ismael
Good to hear that it looks alright on your end in Brave.
How do I enable/disable the privacy feature in Enfold? I did not see anything that gave clarity in relation to this.Thank you.
November 12, 2024 at 4:05 am #1471131Hi,
Thank you for the update.
How do I enable/disable the privacy feature in Enfold?
You can adjust the Enable Cookie Consent Messages setting; only two options are available: enable or disable. Since you can’t access the dropdown in the current browser, try using a different browser or test it on a different device.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 15, 2024 at 12:35 am #1471347Hi
I had to login in Firefox to be able to Enable/Disable cookie consent messages. As this is not working in Brave on my own computer here. Which I find strange. I am not sure what else to do at this stage.November 15, 2024 at 8:30 am #1471368Hi,
Thank you for following up.
Are there any other fields or settings that you can’t access aside from the Enable Cookie Consent Message settings? Since you’ve already toggled it on Firefox, you can just leave it as is for now and get on with the other settings.
Best regards,
Ismael -
