HI
I am working with the Events Calendar free version which has the option of adding additional content before and after the calendar on the events page.
When I try to update that content now by adding html or links to the text, including heading tags etc, it just defaults to plain text. I had a heading tag and   there before that were displaying OK on the events page. I also thought there used to be links at the bottom to go to all the previous events but now I only see 3 events on the page and I can’t see where to change that. I know that I can link to the previous events (see link below) but can’t add it in the additional content since the html is not working.Can you help me with this? Do I need the pro version to be able to use shortcodes for this?
thanks

Thank you for the inquiry.
It seems to be working when we tested this on our end. Have you tried switching the editor to Text Mode before adding the heading tags?
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 11, 2024 at 10:32 am #1468910yes I do it in text mode, but the changes don’t save. I wrote to the event calendar support and they said it is a glitch in the plugin that they are looking at fixing. She also said the previous events links at the bottom should be there but are being blocked by some customizing I have there, but all I see is this which is hiding the search bar at the top:
/*-------hide top bars on events page--------*/ .tribe-events-header__events-bar.tribe-events-c-events-bar.tribe-events-c-events-bar--border { display: none } .tribe-events-header.tribe-events-header--has-event-search { display: none }
can you see why that would effect the previous events links?
thanks for taking a look
