    Hi guys,

    In version 6.03 you can no longer turn off the pulsing sonar effect when you hover over an ALB icon when it is set as a link it suddenly started incorrectly ignoring the disable animation option.

    To reproduce – Create an ALB icon element
    Turn off the animations
    Add a link
    Watch in horror as the sonar effect is still there even when supposed to be disabled.

    Hi Ismael,

    I’ll fire up a blank Enfold theme and double check. Our standard setup however is pretty much Stock Enfold. The plugins we use don’t alter the core Enfold system.

    Will reply once Ive set it up.

    Hi Ismael,

    I can confirm the problem occurs in stock enfold.

    You can see it in the test area shared in the private data

    Let me know if we can get a fix – It has caused us a problem on some existing sites that suddenly started animating even when disabled.

    Looks like the issue occurs because of this css rule in the enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/icon/icon.css file:

    /*	backwards comp. default behaviour prior 4.8.4 with white shadow only	*/
.av_font_icon.av-icon-style-border:not(.avia-sonar-shadow) a.av-icon-char:hover:after {
	animation: sonarEffect 1s ease-out ;
}

    We’ll forward the issue to our channel.

    The new global custom ALB layout system in 6.0+ is an excellent addition by the way. We’ve made good use of this so far.

    I have a lot of projects I need to post on the showcase from the past 12 months so will try and get them up there when I get a minute.
