    Hi!

    I’ve inherited a website to maintain and after updating theme files, plugins and wordpress to a current stable version, the portfolio items (media files) are gone. The website uses the polylang plugin to create a different language version (de > en), only in the english version are some real problems happening.

    In the backend, if i edit a existing portfolio item (or page) the element is still there, but misses all the media files (i.e. masonry gallery, fullscreen-slider, …) and then are not shown in the frontend. What’s also interesting is, that the media library shows only a few items …

    Any help would be really appreciated, i’ve never worked with the enfold theme and the polylang plugin. Maybe these issues are happening from the polylang plugin?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    What was the version of the theme before the update? Images should not be removed during a theme update. Did you create a backup of the previous version? If not, you may need to manually re-add the images to the portfolio items.
