Max Number of Table Columns?

Hi there,
Is there a maximum number of columns we can insert in a table element?

I am developing a site and it seems to want to max out at 20 (though I need to add a couple more to facilitate the proper content for the client).

The “settings” popup doesn’t seem to allow for more area to insert content and if I try clicking the “Add Table Column” button, no additional columns show up on the front end.

Any possible solutions or workarounds?
