Tagged: custom widget area
Hi! I’m either missing the Enfold Child Custom Widget Area, or maybe I’ve already used it, but is there a way to add a new custom widget area to my widgets? I have a couple of pages not using the footer, where I’d like to add a widget area content element to the page – to be able to add a single line of text (copyright) that I could then plug into other pages and only have to update it once in the widget area for it to update across all.
Can you help me with this?
Hey teamvelocitymarketing,
You can create a new widget area under Appearance->Widgets, then you can use the Widget Area element to display the content.
Best regards,
Rikard
I thought that was the case, but I don’t see the “Custom Widget Area” to add a new widget area. I am under Appearance > Widgets and all I can see are the current existing widget areas.
I just added the Classic Widgets plugin and that seems to fix the issue. I’m able to see the add Custom Widget Area now.
