    Why did all the demo content get indexed by Google for my domain? I didn’t submit it….how can I remove the demo content from my site’s indexing?

    Hey aaronjosephhall1,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Is the checkbox in Settings > Reading > Search engine visibility disabled after importing the demo? When this option is disabled, search engines will index the site regardless of whether you manually submit it or not. If you want to update the search results (SERPs), you can submit another sitemap to Google, but it may take some time before the SERPs are updated with the new content.

    Oh okay, did not realize that. lol I removed all the demo content and submitted the new sitemap to Google..I use RnakMath. So, over time, it will fix itself?

    Hi,

    Yes, your removed content will eventually be removed from the SERPs.
