Hello I don’t know why when I reduce an image (in size it is blurry)

For example, the image in the page: https://faceclinic.es/equipo-medico/dr-riba-garcia/
Is the same one in this page (Dr. Riba):
https://faceclinic.es/equipo-medico/ – but I have only select medium size – but is blurry, how can I fix that?

    Thank you

    Hey carmen,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

https://faceclinic.es/equipo-medico/ – but I have only select medium size – but is blurry, h

Have you tried selecting the full-sized or the original version of the image instead of the medium size? Please note that WordPress automatically compresses images, resulting in a minor decrease in image quality, especially noticeable on smaller thumbnails.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

next : did you use a grafic tool to replace jpgs with webp images?
the small view image is shown as jpg file ( with source webp )
Have you checked the settings – if there is a compression level for this replacement?
    ( 500×750 not blurry and 470px × 705px (scaled to 200px × 300px) blurry ) – so scaling might be a problem too.

I don rt really understand whast you mean.

Ok if I have for example a 400x 400 px resolution images, but I want to show the image smaller it does not have sense if the image is smaller to see it worst and blurry…in fact in mobile the same images are perfect..

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Smaller images or thumbnails can significantly impact the quality of the rendered image. For example, if you have a container that is 500x500px in size and you attempt to cover it with an image that is only 50x50px, the resulting quality will appear pixelated, and a noticeable decrease in quality. To avoid this issue, you can use a different image, preferably one that is larger or at least the same dimension as the container.

    Best regards,

2.) Locate the option to upload a file or an image.
3.) Select the screenshot file from your computer or device and upload it to the platform.
4.) After the upload is complete, you will be provided with a shareable link or an embed code.
5.) Copy the link or code and include it in your message or response to provide us with the screenshot.

Thank you for taking the time to share the screenshot. It will help us better understand the issue you’re facing and provide appropriate assistance.
