    Hi there,
I recently wanted to place content elements such as text, images etc. inside an accordion to create columns. Since this is not possible, I created the desired layout elsewhere (in a hidden page) and placed the resulting shortcode inside the accordion panel (i.e. the regular WP Text editor). This sometimes works but is very unstable – and not really comfortable. Next idea is to use HTML with float to create columns – maybe this works better.

But best would be in my eyes to open accordion panels to other conten elements. Woud this be possible? Or do I have to use third party plugins?

    Best
    Michael

    Hey mholfelder,
Thanks for your question, but I can’t imagine what you are tring to achieve, can you post a test page of your attempts above so I can have a better idea?

    Best regards,

    Hey Mike,
I’m sorry I found your reply in my spam directory.
It’s easier to show than to explain. I provide an exemplary link in the private section of this reply.

It would be great to drag any kind of content element (texts, geadlines, buttons, media galleries – anything) inside an accordeon or rider panel. I’m not a programmer but I’m aware that this is probably not a simple task. But anyway …

    Hi,
Thanks, yes unfortunately you can not drag elements into an accordion as it uses a text element to display the inner part, you can add element shortcode into the plain text tab but creating nesting elements can be tricky.
This is not something that we can create at the support level, but you could create a Feature Request for the Dev Team to review. The Dev Team created the Github Feature Request section for users to place requests and follow them as the Dev Team reviews them.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, shall we close this support thread then?

    Best regards,
    Mike
