    Hey Francesco,

    Did you actually select the categories in the list? If not, then please try doing so. If you should need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private, and point out where you are using the element in question.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    BTW, I think there is a bug.

    In portfolio single page… after set the featured image and update the page it seems the image is saved correctly… I can see it either in portfolio list and in the page…

    But, any other changes in the page, after updated it… featured image disappear….

    Why??

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The sorting option works correctly on our own installation. Did you modify the portfolio template in your child theme? The sorting items are not displayed because the container is set to “hidden.” We added a few css rules to display it back, but the sorting is not working.

    .sort_by_cat.hidden {
        display: block !important;
        opacity: 1 !important;
        visibility: visible !important;
    }

    Also, please note that when the Advanced Layout Builder is active, the featured image will not display in the frontend.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    So

    It means that it must be manually modified???

    Where I can find instruction?

    Child Theme? which child theme?? Could you give me detailed instruction how to do it? (I’m not developer)

    Moreover… I’m not talking about only frontend… If you try… you’ll see that image is deleted also from the Grid of Portfolio Page and Single Portfolio Page “Recent Entries”

    See the screenshots please (Recent Entries also is not displayed but for some reason I’m unable to upload the screenshot!!

    You can try by yourself, try tu update and refresh… you’ll see the image is deleted!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Since we can’t reproduce the issue on our end, it’s possible that this is a plugin conflict. To find which plugin is causing the issue please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > deactivate all active plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to the latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

    We tried to access the Appearance > Theme File Editor panel but it is currently disabled. Please ask your hosting provider to re-enable the editor or provide the S/FTP details in the private field so that we can debug the issue further.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Ok,

    For the Featured Image issue… I’ve disable all plugins and activated one by one… it works with all plugins but WooCommerce

    So, even if is recommended plugin, it has problem.

    I’ll check the S/FTP details and send in private soon

    Hi Ismael

    Please see belo account detail to access our ftp

    Please… be careful and advice me when you are in and out

    Thanks

    Hi,

    The sorting option is actually working but since all items in the first page belongs to a single category, there’s really nothing to sort. To test it out, we increase the number of items from 9 to 18 in the portfolio grid element. It now displays items from the categories “Administration Bespoke Services” and “Operation Bespoke Services”, which can now be sorted using the category buttons.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael

    I see.. thanks.

    Regarding the Featured Image, since the problem is the Plugin NextGEN Gallery Version 3.57, and I’ve disabled already…

    Do you think that theme function isn’t lose anything in performance… or it’s better to you use it and upload the Featured Image by the NextGEN and leave the standard “Featured Image” empty?

    #1432968

    Hi,

    The theme already has its own Lightbox option, and the builder also includes Gallery and Masonry elements, so the plugin might not be as necessary.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
