    Hi,
I want to install one of demo import, but it keeps saying this error.
“Download of files for demo Enfold 2017 didn’t work!
You might want to try reloading the page and then try again”

and, I was deleted wordpress, and keep re-installed this theme.
    why I can’t download this?
    Please help me.

    Hey Erin,

Thanks for the login details, I think you forgot to include a link to your site though?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
Thanks for the login, please ask your webhost to enable PHP ZipArchive Extension, this is disabled on your server.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. We can’t do that for you unfortunately, it would be beyond the scope of our support.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. Please install a valid SSL certificate for you site, then change your site URL and location to https on the page in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
Please note the PHP error on your dashboard:
    Enfold_Support_4727.jpeg
also please update these server setting:
PHP max input variables = 10000
    PHP time limit = 300

Typically a basic SSL is free, see this post, or this GoDaddy documentation.
I don’t think that you need SSL to install the demo, but many web browsers will not load your page without one and Google will not list your page, a SSL is needed for a modern website and most webhosts offer the free Lets Encrypt SSL

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,

Your site is still missing an SSL certificate, please try setting that up first of all and change the site URL and location on the page I linked to earlier. If that should not work, then please reach out to your hosting provider and ask why importing a demo is causing a 500 internal server error on the file in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    @designguy2006
: Do you encounter any errors during the demo import process? We tried to log in to the site using the provided credentials, but they seem to be invalid. Please open a new thread and provide a valid admin account so that we can thoroughly inspect the site. You can create a new thread here: https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-post

    Best regards,
    Ismael
