Hi
I’ve just purchased Enfold and have managed to get a site on localhost looking decent by modifying the “construction” demo however wondering how I can populate a pages with content via database.
I want to have for example 6 pages, each with 6-8 items.
Each item requires a gallery with 3 images, text block and seperator.
Each page and item will follow the same layout.I can create each page and item statically, however my concern is each one (~50 items) will need to be edited if I want to make even a minor change to the layout. So I would like to know how to populate via database and also the best way to create “items” from the backend which follow a predefined layout (if this is the best solution).
This is not an ecommerce website.
Hope this makes sense
Thanks

Thank you for your patience, we don’t have a way that you can add your content via database.
I assume that you want to use the Advanced Layout Builder to create your pages with the gallery text blocks and separators, so I recommend creating your first page with the elements in your layout and then use the Advanced Layout Builder Templates option to copy the page:
then in your new pages you can use this template and adjust the images and text to suit.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 20, 2024 at 4:26 pm #1431574Thank you Mike I am able to create/duplicate elements easily however my primary concern is editing layout (or content) once created on a group level. I had expected a feature like this to come as standard and unsure how or if it is possible to integrate along with the theme. If this is achievable via plugin, is someone able to suggest something which may be suitable or help point me in the right direction as this is quite critical for me to include.
January 20, 2024 at 5:23 pm #1431583Hi,
I believe you are referring to changing the content of the pages after they have been created by some other way instead of editing the pages themselves, such as though the database with an import file such as, xml, csv, or json. Such as your opening post.
I don’t know of any plugins that can do this.
We do have a Custom Element Templates option, and these elements have a group level ability, such as changing the text of a custom button, or the color and size this might work for you if all of your galleries and content was the same on every page.Best regards,
