When I upgraded my Enfold theme All Blog Posts created as Portfolio Entries no longer show up.
I am Using the Blog Post Element –> Display Entries from a custom Taxonomy –> Portfolio Entries —> ClassroomIt works fine before the update to 5.6.9 see
But does not work after the update on the staging site
The Text and content no longer show up (including proper link) just a read more link that goes to the Priority item.
Do you know what the issue is?
Thanks

Thank you for the inquiry.
We may need login to the staging site in order to properly inspect the issue. Please provide the login details in the private field. Have you tried disabling the plugins temporarily?
Best regards,

Thank you for looking into this.
I tried turning off all plugins…that did not work.
dcarlsonJanuary 19, 2024 at 8:17 am #1431436Hi,
Thank you for the info.
When we checked one of the posts (link in the private field), we only found one “testimonial” content, which is quite different from the same post on the live site (link in the private field). How did you create the “Classroom Environment” post, and which editor did you use?
Additionally, could you provide the login details for the live site so that we can compare the two?
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 19, 2024 at 3:51 pm #1431490Hi Ismael,
I must have sent you the wrong links to compare.
The Live Site and Staging site are exactly the Same. I only updated the theme.
It appears that I get only a “Read More” link to the testimonial in the Staging site. While in the original Live site the Full testimonial is displayed with a Link to a different page. See Private area for more info and the Live site login you requested.
Thanks,
dcarlsonJanuary 21, 2024 at 1:40 pm #1431611Hi,
Thank you for your patience, the Dev Team found that displaying ALB content in a blog element may lead to nested shortcodes which is not allowed and circular reference breaking the layout and/or displaying the page. So in your staging site the blog element shows this message:
Pages/Posts/.. built with ALB will only display “Excerpt With Read More Link” to avoid a possible breaking of layout
and the portfolio items (testimonials) that you are showing the blog element are created with the ALB.
To solve this the Dev Team has provided this filter I added it to your child theme functions.php and added the page ID of the pages under priorities and now they all show correctly:
If you have any other pages that I missed add their ID to this array.Best regards,
