My original IT professional who set everything up years ago passed away and I’m trying to make sense of everything. I have TWO valid purchase codes for Enfold. I have FOUR unique website that use Enfold and need valid licenses. Currently, I have only ONE personal token. I have ONE personal token…I understand that I can generate a token for each valid license and apply it to the site I want. HOWEVER…
I was able to create a new kresi account (the one I’m using now) for support — for ONE of these licenses.
I was not able to create or access an account for the other license: your login process said the license key is already in use and I don’t have control of the email address originally used (I’m not even sure what it was). I can prove that I am the owner of the license.
Then, once I have access to my kresi accounts for both licenses…how do I determine which of the two accounts is associated with my current token, so that I can use the OTHER account to create a new token for the second website? I can then proceed to purchase new licenses and assign tokens.
One other thing: One of the two websites is currently using an Enfold Child Theme. I don’t really know what that means or why the IT person set it up that way. Does this matter? Should I change it to a parent theme?
I assume we’ll need to take this conversation offline — but you don’t have any way to send a private support email that I can see (hands off style, eh?). If you want two more Enfold sales, please help me with this.
thanks in advance,

Thanks for reaching out to us. You only need one purchase code to access our support forum, so that should not be a problem.
I’m not sure if it’s possible to know which site is using which token, you would have to check your Themeforest account for that. If it’s not possible, then you can simply delete the current tokens, then generate new ones and keep a record locally for reference.
If you need help with transferring a license, then please reach out to Envato/Themeforest support.

RikardNovember 6, 2023 at 6:32 pm #1424813Ok. That’s helpful, but a few issues remain…
You said, “You only need one purchase code to access our support forum” but I’m trying to create two unique personal tokens — one for each license. Don’t I need two Kriesi accounts for that? If not, then please explain how I manage two licenses (and create tokens) from a single account.
It’s not possible to see which license my token is connected to by checking ThemeForest. I was told (by Themeforest) that the new personal tokens are created here in the Kriesi site. So I came here and ran into the issue with my two different licenses: ONE of the licenses already had an account here (obviously created by my former IT guy). The other one is the one I’m using now, which I created yesterday.
I suppose I could just create a new token using this account and replace the token in one of my sites (leaving the current token in my other site) to see what happens. If both tokens are validated, then I suppose that means the other site’s token (the one I’ve been using) is connected to the other license. Do you follow me on this and do you agree with this logic?
Or…you could just check my other purchase code and tell me if it belongs to a Kriesi account (and provide a way for me to access that account) and then I could create a new personal token from each account, assuming that’s how it’s done (i.e., not done from one account as stated at the beginning of this reply).
I don’t need to transfer a license…I already own both licenses.
Further thoughts?
November 6, 2023 at 7:08 pm #1424820Hi,
You said, “You only need one purchase code to access our support forum” but I’m trying to create two unique personal tokens — one for each license. Don’t I need two Kriesi accounts for that? If not, then please explain how I manage two licenses (and create tokens) from a single account.
Purchase code – needed to access our support forum, one purchase code is enough regardless of how many licenses you own.
Tokens – created on the Envato/Themeforest platform to provide their servers with proof that you should have access to updates.
Or…you could just check my other purchase code and tell me if it belongs to a Kriesi account (and provide a way for me to access that account) and then I could create a new personal token from each account, assuming that’s how it’s done (i.e., not done from one account as stated at the beginning of this reply).
We can’t do that for you, you would have to reach out to Themeforest/Envato for that.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 6, 2023 at 8:08 pm #1424827Ok. I will contact Themeforest and tell them what you said — and ask for the correct procedure to create (and/or identify) my tokens.
Not trying to be difficult, but here’s what I posted in the Themeforest forum … and their response…
“I have two licenses of Enfold in my account. How do I determine which license is being used by which website? Also, I might purchase a third license and I want to know how I assign the new one to a specific website.”
Response: You could contact the item author to determine which license is for which website and you can get the personal notes for the future installations.
The item author is YOU, Kriesi. But I’ll see what Themeforest has to say.

November 7, 2023 at 9:56 am #1424889Hi,
Thanks for the update, but we have no records of which tokens belong with which purchase codes unfortunately. But this is still true; if you need to know which token belongs to which site, then you could simply revoke your current ones and create new ones, then keep a record for yourself which token belongs where.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 7, 2023 at 6:45 pm #1424951Got it. Thanks.
Also…Envato explained how the tokens work, so I think I have the information I need. We’ll see when I try it out on the various websites.
