Currently, our website’s form is only functional when we activate the alternative spam protection, which involves using a math problem.
It appears that there is a problem with the Google reCaptcha.

As part of our troubleshooting efforts, we have conducted tests in the WordPress backend to check the reCAPTCHA keys work.
All the tests returned positive responses.

Users are unable to use the form effectively unless the math problem is enabled as the spam protection method.

    Hey kbortis,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Do you get any errors when the reCAPTCHA option is enabled? Google reCAPTCHA is disabled when we checked the site above. Please create a test page with the reCAPTCHA option enabled so that we can check the issue further.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael

Thank you very much for this quick reply.

I have now enabled the reCAPTCHA on https://diana-visp.ch/mitglied-werden-mit-recaptcha/.
It works when I am logged in as admin.
When I am not logged in, it only shows the validation. But it does not submit the form.
But I don’t see any errors.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

An internal server error occurs whenever we try to send the contact form. Please try to temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings to regenerate the scripts, then purge the cache. If the issue persists, please provide the login details in the private field.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Unfortunately, the problem could not be fixed with this adjustment.
I created a clone of the diana-visp.ch WordPress Website.
The login details are in the private field.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

The form seems to be functioning correctly, even with the Google ReCAPTCHA option enabled. However, please be aware that you must accept the cookies before you’ll be able to properly use and send the form.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael

The form does not work despite accepted cookies.

The form only worked when I disabled ReChaptcha.
    What should I try now?

    Best regards

    Hi,
When I test after logging in it works correctly:
    Enfold_Support_2851.jpeg
but when I am logged out I get a 500 server error on admin-ajax.php
Try checking your server error log for clues to the error.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

We have now found the problem.
The error code 500 was indicating an error message stating “Uncaught Error: Undefined Constant “IS_PROFILE_PAGE””.
We found out where the error came from. However, we won’t change it.
We have discussed the problem with our customer.
For him, the reCAPTCHA, which involves using a math problem, is fine.
We will keep it as it is.

Thank you very much for your effort.
    Best regards
