Hi, we will have new photos for our website. So the questiion is: What would be ideal formats?

We started using the “Enfold Health” Demo. https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-health-coach/

And we like very much the way, images are used in the “Enfold Freelancer” Demo: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-freelancer/
But the pictures used there have very different sizes and orientation – and somehow it looks good nevertheless, esp. in responsive sizes on different devices. What’s the trick?

The pictures we use at the moment on our site sometimes don’t look good resp. selected image sections on responsive devices.

So – what would be an “ideal” size – given we have two sections (1/2 + 1/2), and given we would like to have a Grid Row Minimum Height of 100%?

    Thank you, best regards,
    Jörg

    Hey marina_vaupel,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

As you have noticed, the size of the images used in the grid row cells varies in size and aspect ratio (1800x1200px, 1500x2480px), and they still look good because the focus subject covers most of the images. In this case, there is no ideal size. You just have to play around with different images and see what works best for your design.

It’s worth noting that maintaining a consistent aspect ratio or image size across your grid can provide a more visually pleasing and balanced appearance. If you prefer a more uniform grid layout, you may consider cropping or resizing the images to a specific aspect ratio or size before using them in the grid.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
