    Hey rixi,
I’m not experiencing this with my demo, have you tried disabling your plugins to check, and checked your Enfold Theme Options ▸ Sidebar Settings and checked your widgets?
If this doesn’t correct please include admin login in the Private Content area so we can investigate.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,
yes, i checked everything and the widgets are all empty. You can still see the names for the different sidebars that i put in but nothing is there anymore.I dont know where else to look, and its on most pages with a sidebar, not just on one. Prhaps you can have a look.

    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
Thanks for the link to your site, I see that your widgets are empty so there is nothing to show in your sidebars:

When I add a test widget to your widget area it shows on the frontend, so they are working correctly, so I guess your question is why there are no widgets in your widget area and for this I don’t know, I have not seen this before. I see that you have a couple of widget plugins, and perhaps this is related I’m not sure.
I see at the bottom on your widget page there are a lot of widgets in the inactive widget area and perhaps these are the ones that were bumped out and you can drag them back into the widgets. Please give this a try.

    Hi rixi,

I think widgets unintentionally being moved to the inactive sidebar is more of a WordPress issue: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/53816
It can also happen when you switch the theme and the widget area is custom and not existing in the switched theme.
You can try to create a staging site first and perform the updates there first, and see if the issue persists before updating the live site.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
