Dear team & users,
I wonder how to create a new taxonomy: On a page there shall appear only the posts of one special post-author. Or is there another way to achieve this?

PS: eventually it my explanation is not so clear. In other words:
There are several posts from differt authors/users. On a special page I want to show only all the posts of one special author. In the layout-element there is only the possibility to choose categories and tags, not authors(users.

Please create a special category or tag for the author you want to display, it would be a big job to change the element to use different taxonomies like authors.Best regards,

but the element itself provides the option for taxonomies defined by user (screenshot). There seems to be no need to change the element. I suppose, I have to use the functions.php within the child-theme for the definition of the additional taxonomy. Do you have an example for such definition?
