    Hi there,

    I installed one of the Demo themes templates for Enfold and realize I would like to use another finally. However, I do not want to erase my plugins. Is there a way to reset the Demo theme, pages and posts but not other WordPress aspects like plugins, etc?

    Hi GB,

    You can use Database Reset plugins to reset the theme.
    Here are some example:
    – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/
    – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/

    Hi Niko,

    Since I did not want to erase plugins , I just decided to try and delete all media, all posts and all pages. Then I installed an other demo template. It seemed to have worked fine. Can you think of a reason why that might be a problematic way that I did it?

    Hi GB,

    I don’t there would be any issues, the process you made would take more time if you have lots of things already added to your site but I think it’s a safer approach.

    OK great, I was not sure if the process of importing an Enfold template changes other back-end areas of WordPress besides the Pages, posts and media library. If there is no other place I should check into?

    Hi GB,

    If you don’t have custom post types, woocommerce or other plugins that would create another post type then I think your already cleared.
    When you import a demo, the current settings set in Theme Options would just be replaced, so that area is covered as well.

    Ahh crap, I do have Woocommerce, did not think about that one…

    Does that mean I will need to delete and re install Woocommerce and woocommerce payments?

    Actually, I don’t need it for now, so I can just delete Wocommerce.

    I also have Site Kit by Google but not yet activated,

    Everything except WooCommerce seems to be OK.. Correct?

    Hi GB,

    Yes, actually even if Woocommerce is there, you can simply delete the products or just leave it there, since it will just adjust with the demo you will be using), so I can say everything should be good.
