    Hello,
    I want my product categories page to look like my shop page. I want to add the widget in the sidebar and keep the menu open over there. Is there any way I can achieve this?

    Hi,
    Thank you for your patience and the link to your site, I see that you are using Enfold v4.5.7, this is not compatible with WordPress v6+ so first you will need to update to Enfold v5.5
    Then you can add a sidebar to your product category pages in the theme option Enfold Theme Options ▸ Sidebar Settings ▸ Sidebar On Archive Pages

    I updated the theme but now it bought another problem, after updating the theme, it is not showing me my shop as it was earlier. It says “This page is set as the default WooCommerce Shop Overview and therefore does not support the Enfold advanced layout editor ” Also the Advance Layout Editor button is disabled.

    Also the solution I was looking for was, to make the product category page customizable with an advanced layout editor same as all the other pages. If I apply the sidebar option It will give me a sidebar on all the archive pages.

    I found the solution to this problem (Now Enfold Advance Layout Editor is working on the shop overview page). This one is fixed. But I really need the custom product category page option. Is there any other solution?

    Hi,
    Glad to hear that you have one sorted out, but unfortunately you can not create custom category pages with the Advanced Layout Builder, what do you want to change about the current category page?

    Thank you for you response. I wanted to display the banner on the top same as my shop’s banner. It has an option to display a banner but it does not allow us to customize its appearance.

    Hi,

    To change the thumbnail for a specific category, visit the link below. Additionally, you can customize the font color and banner overlay style.

    Make sure to adjust the URL, using your own domain and adjust the value of the tag_ID parameter using the the actual ID of the category. Or just go to the Products > Categories panel and click the category manually, then look for the Thumbnail and Enfold Category Styling options.
