    Hi all,

Have been using Enfold for many years, and have used the Separator / Whitespace element quite a bit.

Until recently, we’ve used both positive and negative values for the separators without issue. A positive value increases the vertical spacing between adjacent elements, and negative value decreases it. This has been very helpful especially in tuning responsive behavior.

However recently (since the last update I believe), the negative spacers are no longer functioning reliably.

In the majority of cases, the negative value seems to be creating positive space (increasing distance between elements).

Has anyone also experienced this change? Is there a fix?

    Kind regards,
    Dave

    Hey sdigit,
Thanks for your question, I have not noticed this issue or seen any threads about it, but can you link to an example of this occurring on your site so we can see what might be causing it?

    Best regards,
    Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply!

I’ve posted info in the private content section.

After further testing, it seems that the negative values are creating positive space on mobile only, whereas they are reducing space on desktop.

    Hi,
Thanks for the login but it doesn’t seem to be an admin login as I can not see the theme settings or the plugins so I was limited in investigating.
I did find that the error only occurs when you are not logged in, if you are logged in the “We answer” overlaps the “Call us” on mobile so I believe that this is a caching issue, try disabling your cache plugin and the theme option Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression and enable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Delete old CSS and JS files
    and clear any server caching.

    Best regards,
    Mike
