    Hi Guys,

we are getting spam mails through the contact form.

I found the following thread of yours – but no solution.
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/receiving-spam-through-contact-form/#post-1064020

Any solutions on that? In Europe – we can not install google recaptcha as you know. Any other ideas to solve it?

    Kind regards
    T

    Hi cktanju,

Is the numeric captcha enabled? if this is enabled and still does not work, please try to install and activate WP Armour and see if it helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko –
    cheers.
But WP Amour just works with enfold and when you have a subscription with wp amour.
And If I would do every subscription I needed – for the same money I could hire an agency to do a .net version of the websites. ;-)

I have done my research and found the following solution (which is free for the moment):
    https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/products/turnstile/

There was also a thread from earlier where Yigit said he will ask the dev team how they can integrated it to the enfold form… I think it was couple month ago.

    Any thoughts on that?

    Cheers

    Hi T,

It’s not yet integrate with Enfold. I think the only workaround is to use a plugin called contact form 7: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
Then combine it with its antispam addon: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-honeypot/
    We’ll help with its styling.

    Best regards,

    Hi Nikko,

as I know Enfold has an honeypot. But the Problem is that “people” using this trick.

Which is a thing on enfolds end – right?
Do you have a solution for the problem?

    Thanks
    T

    Hi T,

Enfold does not have a honeypot unfortunately, we only provide the basic form which relies on captcha for spam, that’s why if these captchas aren’t fixing the problem or could not be used for some reason, we recommend using third-party plugins that are focused on contact forms like contact form 7 and try to help our users with designing the forms to make it look like ones in Enfold.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
