    Hello,

I have a gallery running as a slideshow inside a ‘Fullwidth Easy Slider’ (Media Element) and the captions (Caption Title, Caption Text) displayed on the picture become unreadable when there’s white text on white areas.
I am looking for an option to display the captions with a background that allows them to be readable no matter the content / colors in the picture. I call this a layer and ideally it would be centered and near the bottom of the pictures.
Alternatively displaying the captions underneath the pictures would be also an option for me.
(A slideshow is my preference, I don’t want to make it a gallery, with which the captions can be displayed below the picture.)

I have included a link and to demonstrate my issue, I included captions with the first 2 pictures. It’s fine with the 1st picture, the issue becomes evident with the 2nd picture.

    Thank you for listening!

    Hey hi-fi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The slider has an overlay option for the captions, which is located in the Styling > Caption toggle of each slider items. Look for the Caption Positioning settings and select any option with the word “Framed” (ex. Right Framed, Left Framed etc).

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

thank you so much! Could you please provide the complete path to that option to navigate me there?

I cannot find it. I went > Pages > Edit the page featuring the slider > click on the slider element > picked the tab ‘Styling’ and I do not see it.
I also looked at > Enfold > Advanced Styling > Select an element to customize , but there is no ‘Caption Positioning’ setting.

    Kind regards,
    Bernd

    Hi,

I cannot find it. I went > Pages > Edit the page featuring the slider > click on the slider element > picked the tab ‘Styling’ and I do not see it.

You have to edit one of the slides, and go to the Styling tab. You should see the caption positioning option there. You can define a different caption positioning and overlay for each slide.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Ismael,

    …„…of each slider items.
I didn’t get that before, now I found it. I assumed the option would be a general one, but of course it makes sense to define the position per picture depending on the content and colours.
    Thank you so much!
