I’ve gotten back to designing my own cartoon site, underweardog.com. I made a whole new homepage and then sought to replace the old one.
Forgive me I know I figured this out before, the vertical menu showed the page for the home page which I choose in the normal way and also set the homepage in settings. But what happened is it ignored the new home page when you went to the site but it went to the new home page from the menu. To resolve the issue quickly I made a template of the new home page, and pasted it onto the old one so the site would display the new homepage and it would also go to it from the menu.
But there was a different way of configuring in the case of a vertical side menu as I recall, I was thinking it was under appearance>customize but now I don’t see how. Granted it’s working but I want to understand how.
Where do you go to configure this type of vertical side menu exactly? There was another step as I recall
Thanks so much.
Hey tonyiatridis,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You should be able to adjust the menu items in the Appearance > Menus panel. Have you tried that?
You should also reset the Settings > Reading panel to default and select the front and blog page in the Enfold > Theme Options panel.
Best regards,
Ismael
Ah that must have been it, the front page must have been on the old home page under theme options whilst on the new one in the wordpress reading settings.
This for the clarification.
