    I have a new client that uses WPML and I am redoing the site from scratch.

    After installing WPML if I click the other language it goes to /es/ and I get a 404 showing default theme elements, like logo, footer, etc…

    1- Why it is not a natural 404 with the actual site logo, etc…?

    I see a change to Spanish option in the theme options but there is no homepage set (that is why the 404 above) and there is nothing to select.

    2- How to set the homepage as it should be the same one but using translations right? What am I missing?

    Hey,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    1- Have you translated your media elements using WPML Media plugin? If you have not, please do so.

    2- By default, you can set different settings in theme options for each language but if you would like them to be synchronised, you can simply go enable “Keep Global Layout Options Synchronised (Global Setting)” option at the bottom of the first page of Enfold theme options.

    If the suggestions above do not help, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it :)
