    Hi there

    I use the enfold theme (great!) since some years.
    Now I want to do a completely new installation because Hoster has updated on php 8.1. Website is completely off. All deleted.

    Questions:
    Must I buy a new enfold theme or can I get a (free) update?
    If so, where can I get the update?

    Will enfold run on basic wordpress 6.1.1 (I have already installed)
    Will enfold run on php 8.1.?

    Hi Arno,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You can login on ThemeForest account that you used when purchasing Enfold and go to Downloads page to download the latest version and update the theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ preferably via FTP.

    Enfold 5.2.1 is compatible with WP 6.1.x and PHP 8.0.x. It should work fine with 8.1 as well. We have made some improvements and they will be available in upcoming version :)

    Yes, lifetime updates are included in your purchase so you can simply login on your account and download it from Downloads page :)

    Then, please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert your Personal Token in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates.
