    Hey,

    i just installed the Child theme and the instruction told me to disable merging and compression for JS and CSS Files.
    Could you please explain why this is needed to install the child theme?

    Hey clause2,

    It’s needed in order to clear old CSS and JS files, you can activate that option again after updating the theme options.
