We want to copy the header/menu style of a site we like. I believe that we need to set the page to display the Transparent header, but I am not sure how to add the semi-opaque background to the main menu and top bar menu as they have.
Please look at their header section and advise on how we could accomplish this.

Thank you for the inquiry.
There is another option in the Header visibility and transparency settings called Transparent & Glassy Header, which should apply a semi-opaque background to the header.

Thanks for the response. I have used that feature before but its not quire the same as what i am looking for. The site I provided as an example is a sister site to the one we are building. Unfortunately I cant just copy the code from that site because that one was done in the Avada them, but we wanted to use yours for this site as we just like it better. The example site has a two transparency for the main menu and top bar menu. The feature you mention would simply add a subtle gloss all the way up. Would I be able to modify the gloss styles from that point to get the look I want?

Thanks for the update. There are no header options which would create a header exactly like on your example site unfortunately, and creating that from scratch would be out of scope of theme support. We could try to help you out if you run into problem while customising the header though. If you should need help with that, then please link to the new site as well, so that we can have a closer look at it.
