    Hi
    The Enfold Version: 4.6.3.1 is not compatible with PHP 8.1 and I need to upgrade the server. I cannot seem to upgrade it anyhow and I would like to inqure on how I can do so. We want to keep the same website theme.

    Your response will be highly appriciated.

    Hey,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You are currently using a old version of the theme. Updating the theme should help. Enfold is compatible with PHP version up to 8.0.x.

    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 5.1.2.

    Then, please generate a Personal Token by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates :)

    Thank you for your response.

    Please note the I have done as you mentioned. However, there are no available updates for the theme and it says that I am on the latest Version (4.6.3.1). There is no option to update to Version 5.1.2 and that is my issue.

    Hi,

    Please note that receiving the update may take up to 12 hours. You can use Envato Market plugin – https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/ and insert your Personal Token there to receive the update right away.

    Please try that as well and post temporary WP admin logins here privately if that does not work either.

    Hi, I waited for more that 12 hours, I even recreated the token and it is still not working. t still shows the latest version as 4.6.3.1.

    It looks like your token doesn’t have the correct permissions, please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5

    Also please note that your purchases should show up in the Envato Market plugin, if your token is correct.

    What if I did not purchase? maybe that the issue. how can I do so to receive the updates?

    Hi,

    I’m not sure I follow what you are saying. If you didn’t purchase the theme, then how could you possibly receive updates for it? If you want to know if you own a license, then please check the downloads section of your Themeforest account.

    Uhmm, just like other free themes? This was a free theme (I think). I do not think the person who developed the website purchased the theme or have an account with Themeforest.

    Is there a way to create an account and link it with the current website them? so that I can receive updates?

    Enfold has never been free. If you don’t own a license for the software that you are using, then I would suggest that you purchase one here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990

    Noted, So if I purchase the enfold theme you shared, when I upload it, wont it change the view of my current site? as I see that it might be different?

    Hi,

    We can’t say if something will go wrong during the update or not unfortunately. But you could backup your theme settings under Enfold->Import/Export for example. You could also perform the update on a staging site first, to make sure that everything works as expected there.
