Hi,
in your documentation you have a description how to make a sticky transparent. Can you provide an additional script to make the normal header also transparent? I want to use your “transparent header” to choose a different color for the menu. But all the headers should be transparent.
Thank you.Best regards,

August 25, 2022 at 5:05 pm #1362813Hey Vera,
You can select for the header to be transparent in the Layout menu on each page, did you try that out? The transparent menu colour can be set under Enfold->Header->Transparency options.

RikardAugust 25, 2022 at 5:22 pm #1362820Hi Rikard,
thank you for your fast reply.
The problem is I need two different colour settings for the navigation with transparent headers.
Page 1: transparent header with text of navigation in grey
Page 2: transparent header with text of navigation in white
Maybe I should change the navigation colour with a class where it’s needed? Thank you for your suggestion.Bets regards,
VeraAugust 25, 2022 at 6:52 pm #1362824Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. It would probably be best if you change the menu colour on the page which is different from the other using custom CSS. If you need help with that, then let us know on which page you want to make changes on.

RikardAugust 26, 2022 at 10:03 am #1362863Hi Rikard,
thank you for the reply. If you could help with that it would be great.
If the solution is: change the colours of the navigation for a “transparent header” for a specific page I would have to change the logo here too.Best regards,
VeraAugust 26, 2022 at 1:45 pm #1362884Hi,
Thanks for that. So you don’t want to change anything on the page you linked to? It would be better if you linked to a page where you want to change either the menu colour or the logo.

RikardAugust 27, 2022 at 12:46 pm #1362924Hi Rikard,
sorry for being confusing. Now the link shows the the page where I’d like to change the navigation color and the logo image for the transparent header.

August 27, 2022 at 7:22 pm #1362951Hi,
Thanks for that. Please try this in Quick CSS:
.page-id-591 .header_color.av_header_transparency .av-main-nav > li > a .avia-menu-text { color: #000; }
I’m not sure which image you are looking to replace the logo with though?

thanks for the code. Unfortunately it doesn’t change the colors. I cleared the cache.

here come the details.

VeraAugust 30, 2022 at 10:07 am #1363154allthough Rikards css is correct – the enfold original css has two ID’s in the selector. An ID has a much more higher specifity than the classes – so try:
#top.page-id-591 #header.header_color.av_header_transparency .av-main-nav > li > a .avia-menu-text { color: #000 }
August 30, 2022 at 10:15 am #1363163Hi Guenni007,
thank you for the code, but it has no effect either.

VeraAugust 30, 2022 at 10:59 am #1363173i do not see the page it concerns – please proof if the page-id is correct
or post a link to the site – i do not see as a participant the hidden private Content Area.
And again : look if you have missed to close some curly brackets in your quick css ( sometimes this happens on media query rules )
because every rule after this – will be ignored.August 30, 2022 at 11:19 am #1363177Hi Guenni007,

VeraAugust 30, 2022 at 2:48 pm #1363211/*** standard logo visible on transparency ***/ #top.page-id-591 .av_header_transparency.av_alternate_logo_active .logo a > img, #top.page-id-591 .av_header_transparency.av_alternate_logo_active .logo a > svg { opacity: 1; filter: alpha(opacity=1); } /*** font color on transparency ***/ #top.page-id-591 #header.header_color.av_header_transparency .av-main-nav > li > a .avia-menu-text { color: #000 } /*** font color after scrolling down ***/ #top.page-id-591 #header.header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a { color: #000 }
by the way: only in very rare cases it is necessary to use the custom.css, mostly it is enough to use the quick css for the settings.
and please copy&paste the code above – it is important to preserve non-spaces between some classes at the same element. ;)August 30, 2022 at 3:23 pm #1363218Hi Guenni007,
great, that works fine.
And thank you for mentioning the custom.css: I tested this here because I want to use it on an other website with more customizing where the Quick CSS gets a bit crowded. Do you recommend an other method in case there is more adapted CSS?
Best regards,
VeraAugust 30, 2022 at 4:02 pm #1363230Well – i use nearly almost the quick css – the only thing that always bothers me is that the window widths are limited. I’m now working on a high-resolution 4k 32” monitor. So I want to be able to take advantage of that.
I put in my child-theme functions.php file:
function admin_head_mod() { echo '<style type="text/css"> #avia_options_page .live_bg_wrap .main_h3 { font-size: 36px !important; } #avia_options_page .content_p, #avia_options_page .bg2 { font-size: 24px; } #avia_quick_css .avia_description {float: none;margin-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 0 !important;width: 98%} #avia_quick_css .avia_control {float: left;max-width: 98% !important;width: 98% !important} .avia_footer_links li {float: left;padding-right: 20px} .avia_footer .avia_footer_save {float: left} .avia_reset {display: none !important } #avia_options_page { max-width: 3000px!important} </style>'; } add_action('admin_head', 'admin_head_mod');
however, the latest enfold versions now have a “Theme Reset All Options” button on the import/export tab – I already include this in the code as seen above.
August 30, 2022 at 5:43 pm #1363269Oh thank you. I’ll try that immediately.
The support here is really extraordinary!!
