Hi there,
The Enfold theme was set up with a user and API key by a website developer a long time ago. I have purchased a new license and generated an Envato private token and entered it into the Theme Update page. It is able to validate the token and reports that it can access my purchases, username and e-mail but reports:
Theme Updates: No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.4)
It does not want to detect and update to the latest version (5.1.1)
I do not want to lose my existing theme set up. What is the correct procedure to update?
Thanks in advance,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 25, 2022 at 9:09 am #1362730Hi Rikard,
My ISP host is forcing an upgrade from PHP 7.4 to 8.0 (by 3 October) and this triggered me going down this pit of despair. Thank you for offering to have a closer look. Details in private content.
I tried deleting the wp-content\themes\enfold folder and replacing it with the latest version (5.1.1) and it works but it does not appear to migrate widgets successfully, for example the av_google_map widget on the contact page.
Also when trying to edit a page, it is not displayed in WYSIWYG format but embedded text (if you know what I mean).
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for that. I’m getting a 403 forbidden error on the login page, are you blocking some country IP ranges maybe? If you could whitelist the countries in private, then we should be able to access your site.

I went one step better: I only allow login access from my IP address… sorry, I forgot about that :(
Try it now. It should be open now.

Thanks for the update, I’m still getting the same error though.

OK try it now. For some reason the updated .htaccess file did not save.

PieterAugust 25, 2022 at 6:48 pm #1362823Hi,
Thanks for that, it’s working now. I’m not sure why the updates are not coming through on the backend unfortunately, could you try to install and configure this plugin to see if that works better? https://envato.com/market-plugin/
Best regards,
RikardAugust 26, 2022 at 8:03 am #1362856Hi Rikard,
I installed the Envato Market plugin and added my private token. The Enfold theme update failed the first time with “Updating failed The theme is at the latest version… View version 5.1.1 details.” but it worked the second time.
My issue now is that it does not appear to have migrated the pages to the new version. If I try to edit the “Contact” page for example, it is not displayed in WYSIWYG format but in a text format with embedded codes (for example [av_one_fourth first av_uid='av-65277']) and when the page is viewed it does not display the [av_google_map] embedded code correctly.
Best regards,
