Hi
We have a problem with the footer/socket menu.
We just did it like on our old website, but the footer/socket menu is not shown.
What is the reason for that?
See the URL and login in the private content section..
Thanks very much.
Best regards

Thank you for the inquiry.
The site is asking for .htaccess authentication before we can access the site and login to the dashboard. Please provide the htpassword in the private field. Temporarily, you may need to disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and the cache plugin while editing the site.

Oh, sorry, I have forgotten to deactivate the password protection.
Now you should be able to access the website.

Thanks for that. The footer and socket are displaying as they should on my end, please try checking the site in an incognito or private browser window.

Yes, the footer and socket are displaying as they should…
The problem is the menu. This is not shown in the Footer/Socket.
Best regards
MikeAugust 17, 2022 at 2:37 pm #1361953Hi,
It’s displaying when the parent theme is active, maybe you are overriding something in your child which is preventing it from showing?

Special is, that on our “old” website, see private content section, it works and I don’t remember, that we have something in the child theme, what blocks this menu in the footer/socket.
But we will look on it.
Perhaps you see a difference between the “old” and the “new” website?August 17, 2022 at 3:12 pm #1361961Hi,
We can’t say unless we can see the actual files unfortunately. Please enable the Appearance->Theme Editor functionality in WordPress, or share FTP login details in private as well.

See the FTP login in the private content section.

MikeAugust 17, 2022 at 4:58 pm #1361978Hi,
Thanks for that. The problem is coming from functions.php in your child theme. If you remove everything from there, the menu will show again. You can narrow it down more by removing your functions one by one, to see when the menu appears again.
