After I updated to the latest Enfold, my footer is defaulting to the standard. I cannot change it no matter what widgets I switch or move. Please help!
June 22, 2022 at 8:06 am #1356093Footer should look like this

Are you overriding header.php or footer.php in a child theme? If so, then please try to replace those files with the parent theme versions. You can add your customisations back in after that.
The login details you posted are not working, please check if you should need further help.
Best regards,
RikardJune 22, 2022 at 4:57 pm #1356180I am not aware of any customization and I don’t see anything that stands out to me.
I have provided new login details, can you help?June 22, 2022 at 5:44 pm #1356188Hi,
Thanks for the update, those details are not working either unfortunately. Please test them before you send new ones. If you need help replacing files, then please include FTP login details as well.
Best regards,
RikardJune 22, 2022 at 6:30 pm #1356195I have tested these and they work. I do not have ftp – everything was done through wordpress/wpengine but I included that as well.
Thank you for your help. I tried resetting to the parent theme settings and reuploading files but that did not work either.
June 22, 2022 at 8:33 pm #1356205Hi,
Thanks for that. If you go and edit your child theme under Apperance->Theme Editor, then you will see that you are overriding header.php in there. Please try to replace that file with the file from the parent theme, then add your customisations back in after that.
The details for WPengine worked, but I’m not sure where an FTP account can be created.

RikardJune 22, 2022 at 8:49 pm #1356207I tried, and either I don’t understand what you are saying or it didn’t work. The only change I see is the footer widget area is now blue.
Otherwise it is defaulting back.
We don’t use FTP as far as I am aware. We simply edit on WordPressHere is the code

June 23, 2022 at 9:37 am #1356257Hi,
We can edit the files via WordPress as well, but then we can’t make a backup of the file for you. Please backup everything in you child, or provide us with -FTP login details in private.
Best regards,
RikardJune 24, 2022 at 6:41 am #1356353Thank you, everything is backed up daily, I also took manual updates prior to the theme update and I have paused all work pending on this site until this is corrected.
I do not have FTP login details (I provided what I was given when I took over the site) – we access site changes from wordpress (eventsolutions.com/wp-admin) or on wpengine >esnewsite >phpmyadmin
https://phpmyadmin.wpengine.com/
but I have personally never used itJune 24, 2022 at 11:24 am #1356389 -
